Here is a part number problem

I am getting ready to order the impeller for my 1958 BigTwin 35hp.

The problem I have is this, the pump housing is the same number as my 1955 BT25, impellers look the same.
Now the problem, sierra shows a different part # for the impeller on the '58-'59 BT35, this number is less common than the number 18-3006 which is shown for the '55 BT25
I am unable to confirm that the pump housing 303381 is correct for the '55 25, for all I know someone updated that housing
Can someone Confirm the sierra # for the impeller on the '58 35?
I dont want to order the wrong one.

I have looked up other Evinrudes that use the 303831 pump housing and then looked at the impeller # for those year/models to find they use 18-3006

I am sure you can see my confusion

The 1955 25hp model and the 1958 35hp model both use the single water hose impeller housing part #303831. The impeller part number for this housing is #375808, superseded up thru 375521 to 378891.

Sierra's part number for the 378891 impeller is 18-3006

I don't see where the confusion comes in, unless you're looking at a later model 35hp that uses a two water tube setup.

The confusion comes from Sierra part number 18-3083 for '58-'59 BT35

And impeller part number 377230 is for the two water tube type impeller housing.

The very late 1958 35hp and the 1959 model (resembles the later 40hp design) use the dual water tube type impeller housing. If your engine(s) use the single water tube impeller housing, you DO NOT want the 377230 or 18-3083 impeller.

If I went by Sieera's catalog, I would have ordered the wrong part

Yep, understandable. Now, to repeat myself now to avoid any lack of communication:
