We get to eat our turkey a month earlier than our friends to the South. One of the many things I am thankful for is this great forum. I've never belonged to any other that is so active. Rick.

We are having a great fall, after a pretty lousy summer. We had some nice days but I don't think we got three in a row is my complaint. We are still wetting our lines in Alberta which I know will end any day. Our turkey is tonight. I can't wait. Rick.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We went camping with our new trailer. Loved every minute.
Best wishes from Southwestern Ontario.

Hey rbh. Do you ever fill up that boat at Tappen Coop? Sure looks familiar. I get out to fish the Shuswap a couple of times a year, sometimes more. Just fished there at a derby at the end of September. We always have a blast. Rick.

Hey Rick-
Usually this time of year (July-snow) we have to put in at Sicamous as that's the only place deep enough.

We sure saw a lot of dead salmon this year. Way more than normal. I actually hooked into a live one and he gave me a great fight. Where did all the rainbows go? We only caught keeper lakers this year. Rick.

The rainbows and lots of other species were snacking on the roe, this is the best time to get the big ones just in front of the creek and river mouths.

did you see the pics in the SPAWN OF THE DEAD post :D

No I didn't. I have rarely posted (or viewed) outside of the johnson/evinrude forum. Can you give me a link? Rick.
