So I made a video of this problem (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f16T02OEzIE) ...Basically the motor runs fine until it is just about to get on plane. I had previous problems with the spark plugs/wires etc...I have recently changed the spark plugs, wires, and both ignition coils. I also hit the prop about a month ago so there is a little bit off of the corner of one blade missing...that was a while ago and the problem just started the other day for NO reason. It ran all the way down the river at high speed with no problem, then I picked up some friends and we floated around under the bridge for a while, then I dropped them off and the problem started as I went back up the river. I am working at taking the prop off in case the problem is there, I have also taken the spark plugs in to the local parts place and they said they look fine (looked oily, but not too bad)...So the problem appears to be that it is misfiring under load, like I said as soon as it is about to get onto plane. Could this be a timing issue? Could it be sucking in air? Could the carb need to be cleaned? It just doesnt seem like it is a fuel issue to me...Please help!

Ethanol. It's screwing up a lot of things.Check the fuel pump diaphram. Then check all hoses and filters.Any soft or mushy hoses and the squeezie replace them. While your doing it rebuild the pump and clean the carbs.Read my signature.J
