So I rebuilt the carb on my 1987 6hp Merc, thanks to the gift of ethanol, used here in Oregon.* Now with everything back together, I can't get the motor to run more than few seconds.* Put some gas in the carb and it starts on the first pull and runs great until running out of fuel.* I have verified that gas is getting to the carburetor but it seems like it is not getting to the cylinders or something.* Hoses and throttle linkage appears to be connected but I must have missed something.* This motor has always been bullet-proof and now I am at a loss.* Any thoughts?*
