No Spark on my 1997 225 Ocean Runner

I had a new stator installed a month ago, but yesterday I went to start the engine and I have no spark. Can anyone give me troubleshooting advice? Thanks.

Model number always helps.:)

Try the cheap and obvious thing first, disconnect the black/yellow kill wire at the powerpack and test for spark again.
