At speed my tru-course steering is very hard to turn to starboard; turning to port is very easy. At idle there is no difference in the effort to turn port or starboard, both are very easy. Any ideas?

You need to adjust the trim tab on the out drive. I believe the back of the trim tab needs to be moved to port. I would mark it before you move it or take a good picture of it. Then I would make a big adjustment and take it for a run.
I believe there are some marks on the bottom of the cavitation plate and on the tab it self. On mine there are two that are longer that if you line up it is the basic starting position. With diferent type props it can need to be in different positions.

If you mark it then make a large adjustment then you will find out fast if you went the right way. Once you sure which way to move you should get it right very fast.

Only other thing to check is that the bottom on the skeg in not bent to one side or the other.

I don't know about that specific outdrive, but my guess is it's normal. Trim up and it will probably get easier. When I take off, trimmed all the way down, it is extremely hard to turn in one direction. As I trim out, it get's easier and easier.
