Omc 2.3l ford engine----not starting.

Hi, as mentioned i have a 2.3l omc cobra engine. I am having problems starting. As i turn the key to the run position, my starter solenoid starts clicking which is the one where im getting power from my main battery as i have a total of 3 solonoids. I get no cranking power to my starter or anything else. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

Your not getting enough power to turn in over.
Possible causes are:
Dead batts, Bad or corroded cables, Bad or corroded connections, Bad soloniod, or bad starter.
Also it can be any combonation of any or all of these.

You need to start by checking the battery, Have it tested. Then go and check the voltage, and voltage drop at all the connections starting at the battery then making your way to the starter. After that have the starter tested.
