radial and bias tires

i know it is not advised to put radials and bias tires on the same axles. Can you put radials on one axle and bias on the other on a tandem setup? I am in the process of swapping out the tires and would like to do it slowly, ie swap out two this season and then the other two the next.

Personally I would swap them all out at once.

Bite the bullet and do all 4. No sense in finding out the hard way that it might not work.

I don't know for sure but I would guess the effect would be about the same as taking a car or truck and putting radials on the front and bias on the back. Or vice versa. One set is going to get chewed up.
