It has, what I thought was a port-a-john, but there are two hose coming out the back. There is a waste cap on the side like theres a waste tank. There is no fresh water cap. So does anyone know how this system works?

Congratulations on your new boat. If the toilet is the same or similar to the one on our 2000 Sig 240, it has a thru-hull fitting with a seacock which allows you to bring in bay water to flush the toilet. Is there a flip handle on the pump? If so, flip it to the left. When you pump the handle water should be drawn into the bowl. When you flip it to the right and pump, the waste water should be pumped into the holding tank. If no water comes in, check in the bilge for a thru-hull fitting. If the handle is flipped down rather than towards the hose, the seacock is closed. Hope this helps. You'll find a great deal more information and helpful people on the Chaparral owners forum @ yahoo. See you there. Hy
