Identify this boat and motor please

I was looking for a trailer for a homemade hydroplane I'm building and found this boat/motor/trailer for $150, the motor runs, and the boat floats but needs a little glass work on the bottom ridge. I figured I couldnt go wrong for $150. Anyways I know nothing about the motor or boat besides it is an "american marc" any info would be great, does anybody know what these boats are worth?

Need a closer pic of the motor...
Kind of looks like an old Johnson or Evinrude but hard to tell.

Sorry, can't help you on the make of the boat, and need a closer picture of the motor to tell for sure. On the question of what it's worth, well, it was worth $150 to you and the previous owner. Seriously, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. On a boat like that (I'd argue on any boat) you can't go by some "blue book" value, as there are too many other factors involved. My bet, though, is that with a bit of restoration, you could definitely make money on the deal. Nice find!
