I've searched the forums, but can't find the exact answer to this question...
How long after starting the engine does it take for the water to start coming out of the exhaust ports and how strong should the flow/spitting be once it starts?
I have not had any overheating issues with my outboard, but a friend noticed it didn't start spitting at first and now I'm trying to get more details. I've not noticed it...always had the gauge tell me it was ok, but I think my gauge needle worked loose and I have to press it on the stem.
Thanks!
