Merc Optimax Removal From Boat

I have a 2006 Merc Optimax 75hp...What is the best way to attach my engine hoist to it so that I can remove it from the boat???

Mercury makes a lifting hook that screws dirrectly into the top of the Flywheel.

I bought one and used it once to mount my engine.

Worked Great.

look up parts for your engine and it should be listed under special tools.
