Hey I just purchased a 12ft. aluminum semi v (I think thats what it is called anyway) and I want to puts some casting decks and seats in it instead of having benches. I know this is probably difficult because of stability issues. I am considering removing the middle bench and shortening the front and back benches. I plant to add some storage areas on the sides. Does anyone have any pictures of successful rebuilds or mod for this boat size...... Thanks Please Help

Thank I will do that now. I have been looking for ideas. I guess my greatest concern is how tippy a 12 footer actually is. Im going to check it out and let you know what I think. Thanks

That looks like a fishing machine!!!! Great Job!!!! I wish the boat I have was nice and wide like that on. Mine is just a small 12 footer and I think if i try to stand in it, it will tip way to easy and be unstable. Thanks for the pics though and congrats.

I've been working on my 12' AeroCraft for a couple years now. I got distracted by my Starcraft but we are finally painting it this weekend.

There's a link in my signature to the restoration thread. Feel free to check it out, plenty of pictures:)

I did a removable decking and cut out a hatch in the middle bench for battery storage.

Good luck with it, and remember to keep everything as light as possible.
