I spent the past weekend continuing the restoration http://thescottfund.org of my boat, btw i finally figured out the year and make it is a 65 Meadocraft, has anyone ever heard of a Meadocraft? Well that is what the registration says, also i found out that it is normal that i couldnt find the HIN because manufactures were not mandated to assign a HIN until 1972. And i am almost done jumping through hoops to get the boat and trailer titled in IN because Kansas does not title boats nor trailers under 2000#s

Anyways i learned a couple tricks that i though i should share, a grinder is messy and a pain for removing the fiberglassed deck and transom, the axe end of a drywall hammer will cut through the epoxy very easily. And i discovered that a direct hit to the hull with the hammer will not go through, barely makes a scratch it but it cut the epoxy joint like a knife through butter with no mess.

also the transom was rotted in the middle and it was a pain to remove it layer by layer but i figured out an easy way to remove it, the picture below speaks wonders, took all day but with little effort at the end
