my '77 johnson seahorse 70hp is turning over very slowly and I have already replaced the battery.....any thought or ideas?

Check ALL connections, make sure they are clean and tight. Does the flywheel turn freely by hand? Check voltage to the starter when trying to start, if you have 12 volts, might be time to overhaul the starter.
