Finding Serial and Model Number

Hi, I recently purchased a Mariner 135 hp oil injected ouboard that looks to be around a 1987. It did not come with any manuals and I cant find the serial or model number. Any help will be appreciated

Thanks, my problem was the little serial number plate was not mounted on top of the transom mount where most mercury engines are. the engine is laying on its side and it was on the bottom side.
