I need info... Mont Ward 25HP SEA KING MODEL # 009026 A (?? )
On the steering wheel all it says, in the middle, is Vollrath. plywood boat,
I need to know the year it could be-where I could get a windshield- and how much it could be worth. I know its old, and it came out together-boat and motor and trailer all from Mont Ward. Does anyone know where I could get pictures of what it looked like originally? Any info would be appreciated. thank you dave

Look again, that should be GG-9026A. That is a 1957 25hp with electric start. Made by Gale, it is a Gale model 22DE14.

Sorry, I can't be much help on the boat. But isn't Taylor Maid Windshields still in business? I could be all wet on that comment.

Chetek made boats for Montgomery Wards. Vollrath made steering wheels and such for boats See if you can find the" Wooden Boat Forum" there was an old post from 2003.Or just do a search for Chetek.
I was searching Vollrath and found the Chetek info with the Vollrath comment.

I just got your PM this morning.....An interesting piece of history...you won't see another one of those anytime soon. I like the more unusual boats for that reason.

take it apart and use it for patterns and build a new one...engine looks nice:)

May I suggest a free want/for sale ad at www.aomci.org ? That is the Antique Outboard Club's website. If you want to sell something, go to where the market is. What is it worth??? I don't have a clue. Advertize it for best reasonable offer and see what you get.
