Ok the boats is basically together now. But when I place the selector in neutral from drive or reverse it acts like it starts to stall for a moment. I think the lower shift cable is adjusted correctly. It goes into reverse and forward. Could this be the shift interrupter needing tweaking from the upper cable?
Oh and I puled a stupid one today, when testing it for leaks, I forgot to put the damn plug into the boat. It was still trailered though and never left dock.

Re: Stall

The engine WILL sound like its gonna stall coming out of gear back to neutral; thats how the shift interrupt works.

Re: Stall

works like that only in the water with a load on the prop, will not do that on muffs unless there is a problem with the shift cable binding.

Re: Stall

Thanks that is what I was wondering, cause it has never done this before. Only since I installed the new cable and adjusted it.
