Sorry to repost this, but I hope there is someone out with a similar drive housing without the apparent drive water drain plug.

I have a '99 5.0 Volvo Penta SX. For winterizing, the Volvo Penta manual says to drain the water from the pivot housing on the outdrive by tilting the drive unit up and removing the water drain plug on the port side of the pivot housing. The photo shows a plug, just infront of the 3 large bolts on the housing, but my drive unit doesn't have one of those plugs.... Baffling.

Any suggestions on how to remove all the water from the drive unit? If I can't find a plug, can I fill the engine with antifreeze, crank it over a few times without starting it and hope the antifreeze makes it to the drive unit.

Thanks
