Attwood fuel/water separator filter....what's appropriate for its use?

OK.....bought an Attwood fuel/water separator filter after reading numerous recommendations for it.

Now, before I hang it and make it non-returnable, I have a question about its use and appropriate engines for it.

50 hp outboard....will it have enough fuel pump power to pull gas through the filter or should I just return it as being not suitable and instead install a simpler inline gas filter?

I run a 10 micron Yamaha filter on the F150. If I was going to do it again I would want the type with a drain and clear fuel bowl, just to see whats going on in there.

I must admit on the carbed Pro 50 and 25 Johnson only have stock filtration.

A filter is cheap insurance in the long run.

That fuel/water separator will work like a charm on your motor, I've had one on my 90HP for years and it'll keep the water and trash out of your carbs.

Yes, that filter will work well with that outboard.
