My 1997 yamaha C-150 trim and tilt has been acting up ,goes up and down most of the time but occasionally i have to play with it to work,meaning pressing the up and down botton a few times or somes have the push it by hand,Anyway i decide to take the air out as evertime i open the plug a little air comes out ,so i follow the instructions
1-motor in up position open cap and fluid comes out slowly
2-put cap back on lower motor take cap off fluid comes out slowly
3-put cap back on lightly open manual release and lift motor to upright position
4- ALL HELL BREAKS LOOSE and fluid starts to squirt everywhere and and i probably lose about 4 ounces could i have had to much fluid to begin with ? anyway going to get more yamaha fluid and a new o ring for cap would like help on the steps to take to get it right thanks
