Re: wheel bearings

Wheel bearings have numbers on them. The numbers relate to the construction of the bearing and serves to identify that particular bearing. For all you know that bearing may be used in an airplane, boat, car, motorcycle or anything else that needs a bearing and it may not even be for a wheel. So to answer you question: No -- there is no difference. But to get the correct "SIZE" and "STYLE" bearing you use the part numbers stamped on the bearing.
