The ign system is under the flywheel. Pull the flywheel and check the coils for cracks, if cracks are found replace the coils. Check the points, clean and regap to .020". Make sure the flywheel taper and flywheel are clean and the key is in good shape, reassemble and torque flywheel, and check spark and see what you have.
