I bought my 90 hp Merc used and it runs good. At some point a previous owner removed the oil tank. I was told to premix the oil like I would an older outboard. The pump assmbly is still there. i was thinking of replacing the missing parts and getting the oil system working again. Is it worth my time to do this? If not, what ratio oil/gas does this engine need? What other modifications do I need to do to the engine without the oil system? (block off lines, different plugs???)
