3.0l rear motor mount bolt

hello I have a 3.0 mercruiser engine that was replace recently and the starboard side bolt of the rear motor mount it tight but if u keep tunning it come loose like the threats are not good does it matters if this bolt is loose or it needs to be tight

There is a nut on the bottom of that bolt that is held in place. Yes it should be fixed. You could be throwing off the alignment and putting undo stress on the gimbal bearing,u-joints and the motor mount on the opposite side...

thank you I will take a look at it . is it hard to replace the nut on the bottom?

Nope,... Atleast not after you remove the motor...

shouldnt be to hard if you have room should just fall out it wont turn as it is captured bythe transom mount.
