i have a 1986 60 hp mariner just bought from guy been sitting for about 4 months now it will crank and im thinking the carb needs adjusted need to find the starting point for the mixture screw starts to die when throttleing up slowly but will run when mashing throttle fast then it will die when idleing back help please....

WOW,was that all one sentence?!I usually never rag on someones typing,but I literally had to read that 5 times to even try to break down what was being said!Still dont have it completely.Upper case letters to start a sentence and punctuation will help ALOT.

do a search, there are alot of threads on this site to help you adjust the carbs
