ive got an 86 chris craft with a well kept 3.0 140 mercusier ive changed the plugs wires and dist cap but im still getting a hesitation taking off how can i fix this
If the engine is in good shape like you say meaning compression, oil pressure, ignition etc, etc the carburetor might just need to be rebuilt. The accelerator pumps get tired in those things.
