My 2001 40 2-stroke tracker/mercury was running fine this summer. The next time out it started and was running on the lower cylinder only. I put it in neutral and reved it and it seemed to run on both cylinders. But when I put it in gear it ran on one cylinder, but once both of them fire up it seems to run just fine. Any suggestions as to where to begin my search for the fix?
