I'mmm baaaacccckkkkk! It has been a crazy month ... lot's of work, lot's of deaths, lot's of stuff! A much needed vacation was in order and a trip was in order. A couple of days at Herrington Lake in KY and then a week in the Great Smoky Mountains, TN ... a good time was had. Now I have 10 more days of stuff to catch up on ... but it was fun while it lasted. Now to see what you all were up to while I was running around! ;):D

Yea, and the white bass didn't start biting till 5 days after we left! :mad::mad: Couldn't find them anywhere while there ... brother calls me the next week to tell me he and his wife were out and caught 16 white bass and 4 largemouth in 2 hours ... and we fished a day and a half and came away with a few panfish and 4 largemouth, only one of legal size. Still, a good time was had.

As for the last month, we had our annual youth camp, a funeral for a dear friend who's husband passed away a month earlier, a wedding for our oldest daughter, a 75th birthday celebration for my mom, and the vacation. Yep, it was a busy month.

The stripers/whites/hybrids have been hard to find on the Ohio river lately too. Not hard, impossible!!:eek:

The river is difficult to fish as it changes daily. Where they used to be, they ain't now!:confused:
