can anyone tell by this pic what model of mercruiser O/D this is, there are no numbers on it that I can see. 77 or 78 starcraft cheiftain. 165 bolted to it. Please pay no attention the name, Receintly purchased boat and that will be the first to go lol

Where in the merc O/D line up does the mc1 sit in regards to reliability and repair costs and is there anything in it I should check that is known to give problems ? I am new to mercs. Thanks Don for the info.
