I installed new o-rings in the powersteering pump and would like to know the procedure to fill up the unit with no air in the system. There is the pressure side hose and the no-pressure hose. Does one stay disconnected or do you hook up both and move the steering wheel from side to side after filling the unit ? Thanks if anyone can help.....have never messed with powersteering before....

self bleeding, fire up your boat, turn left/right/left/right, check fluid level, and do it again.

this is with all lines hooked up, under normal operating conditions

Hobie,

Fill it up, with all hoses conected. Cycle the steering wheel back and forth-with engine running. It is self bleeding.

Keep checking fluid level.
