Well My granddad was a fiddler, But he used a big ole hand saw on top of a sapling stump to vibrate the ground to bring fiddle worms to the top..

We have a winner folks.

My grandpa called them fiddlers. He would never throw them back. Skin em, gut em, cut off the heads and fry em whole. Delicious. The tail fins are a crunchy delicasy

The worst of the fiddlers/nibblers in this area seems to be the 'Goby'...friggin unintentional imported nuisance
