Changed out the Water pump, old pump had very little wear, however it would not pump at all in idle or below 2000rpm, changed pump and housing, New pump works well at 1500 or more rpm, but at idle 800-900 rpm only a small amount of H2O is squirting out. The plastic 4" pipe that connects the pump to the drop pipe from engine seems to have a sloppy connection could this be where my issues are? and how would this be resolved? Any ideas.
