Minn Kota PowerDrive V2 dead

I have a Minn Kota PowerDrive that has stopped working all together. When I press the battery tester, it shows full charge, but when I press the foot pedal, nothing happens, it won't turn side to side and the prop doesn't turn. Worked fine last time I was out. I'm thinking it's the foot pedal itself, but I'm wondering if anyone has an ideas on how to diagnose the problem?

Check the connections on the cable going to the foot pedal. Disconnect and re-connect the cable several times to burnish the contacts. Press the test button while you are stepping on the "go" button. If the tester indication drops you do NOT have a good battery. If it stays the same (assuming the motor is running) then you fixed the problem. If you know someone with a V2 borrow their foot pedal.

Yep check all the connections to be clean and tight, a voltage meter can still read 12 volts, but a high resistance connection will drop that underload.
