Honda BF115 hydraulic leak

I noticed the other day that there is a leak at the top of the tilt trim piston and the motor slowly lowers without touching it. It looks like the seal at the top of the piston failed. Is this something that is easily repaired or does the entire unit need to be replaced?:confused:
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks

It can certainly be repaired,but the time it takes to repair it and the crap shoot that repair will last makes looking at a new unit look pretty good.Used salvaged units are available from several sources nationwide and can save you substantially.
