Fuel Pump Rebuild Kit

I have a 165hp In-Line 6 MerCruiser Marine engine in my boat. S/N 0A608351. When in neutral engine runs fine but as soon I as put in gear and apply power the engine bogs down and dies. It runs fine when doing about 5 miles per hour. I'm told this pump is 862077A1, OEM P/N 0509408. Is there a rebuild kit for this fuel pump? Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a fuel issue to me, but dont jump on the fuel pump yet. Yes some of them are rebuildable, but best just to replace the whole pump if necessary. Did you check your fuel pressure? Should be around 5 yo 7 if I remember. Do you have decent fuel squirting into carb when you shove the throttle forward?
