Wellcraft 192 Serial Number

Have just bought a Wellcraft 192 classic with an outboard fitted, can anyone please tell me where I might find the serial number of the boat ?

Possibly on the transom in one of the upper corner's........ it would be that way in the USA on most boats built after the early 70's

Wellcraft serial numbers start with the letters WELP. It'll be imbedded in the fiberglass just below the rubrail on the starboard side of the transom.

And should you be curious, the same HIN on the deck is under the portside forward rubrail...ask me how I know...
