Any idea on how to get the flywheel off so I can check the points and coils? I am not getting any spark and am not having any luck getting the flywheel off. I have purchased the right puller, but I don't know what size bolts I need for the threaded holes in the flywheel, anyone know what size they are? Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I think they are 5/16 bolts. Make sure they are "grade 8" or equivalent and also be sure they thread down into the flywheel about a half inch at least (evenly)

5/16 is not the right size, I picked some up at the local hardware store and they are too big, any more ideas?

1/4 x 20, (course thread), as stated before use grade 8 (hard) bolts.

Awesome, thanks for the help. I have bigger issues now. I need a die set for the center bolt and I need a new nut, I think I stripped the threads. Any idea what size this is?
