Ok Guys heres one for you. Merc 402 both sparkplugs firing at same time. Never seen that before. What I have done. run diagnostics on stator. red /blue 5700K ohms. red /grd 58 removed kill wire. rebuilt carb. mech says stator is "bleeding" over ????? could i have a Bad trigger ???? please help

Ok Heres what I found out. If I remove one plug, doesnt matter top or bottom, crank motor it will "pop" as if trying to fire. Is it possible that the reeds are gummed up from sitting ( boat has been in a barn since 1981) i dont seem to be getting fuel to cylinders. Also will not fire if i put gas directly into cyliders with both plugs in HELP !!!!! im at my wits end. Thanks
