Mariner Year and Model? And is it a quality motor?

So I picked up a 16ft 1984 bow rider that has what appears to be a similar year Mariner 75hp. I checked the 4 cyclinders and each was about 110lb. Much to my surprise after not starting for a year it kicked right over. So after some flirting with the owner I got it for $600. (boat was in nice shape). So is this a good motor, is it easy to get parts? I admit I am a Evinrude/Johnson guy.

The serial number was A117326.
