1979 mer 50hp no power under load

Runs great in the driveway. Put it in the water and give it gas and it wont go on plane. If i prime the gas bulb it will run like a champ for a mile or so and then i've got to reprime the the bulb. any suggestions

fuel pump kit....my 84 50 hp was doing the same thing...rebuilt the fuel pump and it runs like a champ

I've looked at the kits that you buy it has 3 items in it and my carb only has 2 do i put all three in? and in what order? There is 2 black and kind of a gold colored.
