I have been looking at these things for some time now and thinking it would be a good alternative to shucking out a few grand for the traditional gas/diesel
portable for around the the farm, shop, etc. Now that I've got this leaky aluminum boat with a questionable transom hanging around, the temptation to hit the "buy" button is reaching critical mass. Anyone have, used, or know anyone that has one? http://www.premierpowerwelder.com/readyweld/readyweld.html

Ayuh,.... I've got 2 of 'em,... I absolutely Love 'em....

I had a Snap-on/ Century 24V wire feed I was using to build aluminum Stuff,...
The problem was pushin' the 4300 series of wire through the whip,...
Soft wire welds Great, but birdsnests when pushin' it...
The Readiweld pushs it a few Inches, instead of 10 Feet,... Works like a Dream....

I bought both of mine on ebay, Used, at alittle under 1/2 New, retail...

Kinda a cool idea, but for that retail price I could buy a used Miller or Lincoln welder.

Or even better, I could get a spool gun for my existing cheapo MIG power supply... hmmmm...
