Just finished restoring a 1988 Bayline Capri 1900 and have taken a few short trips here and there in the Chesapeake. The trim cylinder has always leaked and was on the list of repairs to accomplish in the coming weeks. Well today, shortly before I reached the boat ramp the trim stopped working and I therefore could not lift the motor far enough to load it on the trailer. I tried lifting it - didn't work. I released the hydraulic lines going to each of the lifting cylinders - Nothing. I ended up leaving it at a friend dock overnight but need to get it out of the water tomorrow morning. Does anyone know how I can get the motor up manually or how to solve this situation temporarily? My brother and I worked on it until it got dark on the ramp but had to abandon the project til morning. Please Help!!
