I have a '79 140 Johnson without tnt on an 18ft thunderbird tri hull. The boat is extremely heavy. I was wondering if I would be able to put it on a 21ft cc or cuddy fishing boat? Would it be enough power. The motor is in good shape and I got it running really good.

I had a 140 on a WAC 21ft and with 3 people 60 gal. fuel, ice chest an fishing tackle, 3 batteries the boat would run 32, but it did have tilt and trim. I had the boat for 6 years and ran great too me.I fished out in the gulf of mexico...
