How does one adjust the air/fuel mixture on a 1978 Johnson 115hp motor? It seems to be running rich, as my plugs are wet with fuel when I observe them.
Hope someone can help..Thanks

Re: Air/fuel mixture adjustment

you dont.both low and high are fixed .use l77j4 champion plugs gapped at .030.if you do a lot of low speed running or trolling try gapping to .040.

might also add that champion shows l82c as the new plug for my 90 which had the exact same plug as yours .i find that since using them my motor runs a lot better at trolling speeds and they look a lot better upon inspection.check to see if the l82c are for yours now or maybe somebody else that has a 115 of your vintage can chime in.
