I have recently purchased an Avanti Industries 170 DLI Bowrider. I believe the boat (and motor) were made in the late 1980s. The numbers off the motor are as follows:<br /><br />Model # 982740<br />Serial # J 31385<br /><br />Can anyone give me any information on when exactly this motor was made and where I can find information on how to make repairs. I am going to completely renovate the boat and motor to like new condition, and need all the help i can get. It has been sitting in a pasutre for 10 years.<br /><br />Thanks!
