I have the chance to buy an engine for parts (hopefully for a good deal). I currently have a 1972 evinrude 85hp (model 85293R) with the electric shift. I have the chance to buy a 1970 evinrude 85hp (model 85093d).

Any idea if the parts are interchangeable?

Any idea where I may look to find this info?
