I am in the process of restoring an I/O 1975 arrowglass cheetah, trihull. Previoulsy there was no drainage below the deck. Just solid foam (the manufactured boasted that the boat had more foam than any other boat its size class, little did they know!!)

Since I have it stripped down to the hull I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for a drainage system. TO give a visual, there are 2 stingers that run the boats length, beam of the boat is around 5.5 ft. Distance between stringers is about 15 inches.

I would like to install a storage well in the center of the boat and have some sort of drainage to the well at the stern of the ship which the motor sits over, all amoungst poured in foam, any ideas? Or should I just try to seal it tight and let the foam water log over time?

Nope,... That Never works...
Drill limber holes in the stringers,+ allow for drainage to the bilge for pumping...

Are you thinking about deleting that foamed area and use it for storage??
