1995 chris craft with 302 ford spark plugs

pops back thru carb i am shure it has up to 10% meth fuel in it changed plugs thought they may be to hot put in auto lite 26 any one know how hot of plug this thing uses or idea on pop thru carb

If you are getting backfiring, I would check your plug wires to ensure they are in the correct order. The 302 used two different patterns for the spark plug order, so pick the right one. If that doesn't work, then you need to check your timing.

some times the correct firing order is not the one on your intake

If it's a 5.0L 302 firing order 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8, 185HP
a 5.0 HO 302 firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8, 200HP
Spark plug AC-MR43T, gap 0.035 both engines
Timing 10 degree BTDC both engines
