We just bought the 96 tracker 75hp 2 stroke and had problem trying to get to top speed. when we brought it out to the water it ran perfectly for about 5 minutes on full throttle and then it seems to lose power and slow down significantly. The motor still sounds good and runs smooth, starts good, but the power is not there. We changed the spark plugs, new gas, new oil, ran seafoam through but still have the problem. Previous owner said that the boat had been sitting for a while without being used so we think it could be debris buildup or something. We dont know too much about motors, so any HELP?!?
